South African Texas Transfers
                  -----------------------------

A variation of Texas Transfers.  Over a 1NT or 2NT opening or rebid, 
4C and 4D are used as transfers hearts and spades, respectively.  
4H and 4S are natural.  Responder has the option of transfering OR 
bidding the suit directly.

People play this for one of two reasons:
 (1) the transfer allows two ways to signoff in game, so with 
      tenaces (like Qx) responder can play the hand or without
      tenaces opener can play the hand. 

 (2) 4C and 4D are easier to remember as transfers than 4D and
      especially 4H.
